The Reed & Barton Sterling Cross Ornament series, introduced in 1971, has long been a cherished part of Christmas traditions. Now in it's 50th edition, Reed & Barton commemorates this milestone with the addition of a goldplated edge adding a striking contrast with the silver. The design of the cross takes inspiration from the very first cross in the series produced in 1971. A gold tag adorns the 2020 Christmas Cross with R & B embossed on the front and 50th on the reverse. Beautifully handcrafted by skilled silversmiths in the USA, the sophisticated marrying of smooth rich lines and beading of the cross combine to create elegant simplicity and stunning design. At the close of the season, the dies used to create each Reed & Barton Christmas Cross are destroyed, thereby assuring its owner a true collectable. Original factory gift box, protective velvet pouch, brochure, and ribbon are all included. The Cross Ornament is engraved 2020 Reed & Barton Sterling on the reverse, has a flat back, and measures 3.6" High.
