The 2024 Bing & Grøndahl Children's Day Plate is like a gift wrapped in nostalgia. This year's plate bares a motif called “The Little Chemist”, depicting a small chemist at play in her laboratory, searching for the right formula to make gold. The porcelain plate, designed by artist Sven Vestergaard, measures 5” in diameter and includes Bing & Grondahl gift box and certificate of authenticity. “The Little Chemist” motif appears in relief and the plate is hand painted in blue underglaze. This plate is the last addition there will be to the collection.
