The 2025 Royal Copenhagen Anniversary Plate marks the 250th anniversary of the esteemed porcelain manufacturer, celebrating its rich history and craftsmanship. Inspired by the commemorative plate issued for the 200th anniversary in 1975, this special edition features the silhouette of a porcelain painter, a tribute to Royal Copenhagen’s artisans. The design is based on a 1927 papercut by Else Hasselriis, who was part of the porcelain factory from 1904 to 1949. Expertly crafted in fine porcelain, the relief has been hand-cut by Royal Copenhagen’s skilled modeling artists and meticulously hand-painted in cobalt blue underglaze. Measuring 7” in diameter, the plate comes in an official Royal Copenhagen gift box with certificate of authenticity, making it a cherished keepsake for collectors and enthusiasts alike.
