The 2025 Royal Copenhagen Annual Plate is in its 118th edition and has been designed by the Danish artist Allan Therkelsen. Designed for Royal Copenhagen's 250th anniversary in 2025, the 2025 Royal Copenhagen Annual Plate depicts a bust of Queen Juliane Marie, who was one of the founders of Royal Copenhagen in 1775. Next to her on the windowsill is the first-ever Royal Copenhagen Annual Plate from 1908, and through the window you can see Frederiksborg Castle. The relief for the “Queen Juliane Marie” motif has been hand-cut by Royal Copenhagen’s talented modelling artists and hand painted in cobalt blue underglaze. The porcelain plate measures 7” in diameter and includes Royal Copenhagen gift box and with certificate of authenticity.
